LowOhm Conductive Coatings
A number of applications require the control of electromagnetic energy (EMI/RFI) an instrument or computer radiates or admits. These include air traffic control, medical instrumentation, computer systems, avionics instrumentation, industrial monitoring, measurement instrumentation, and secure communications. When high EMI/RFI suppression is required, a display must be coated with low ohm transparent conductive coatings, have a mesh screen applied, or both. The mesh screen provides the best energy suppression but offers the worst visibility through the display and is susceptible to other imperfections. JDSU's low ohm conductive coating is the best in the industry and the preferred solution. With a sheet resistance as low as 0.20 ohms/square, the coating offers unmatched uniformity and optical performance. With a wide range of suppression performance to choose from, JDSU will optimize the transparency to meet the application's requirements.
