Bandpass Filters

Bandpass Filters

Band pass filters are filters used to isolate selected wavelength regions by transmitting energy in the selected region and reflecting or absorbing energy at other wavelengths. The center wavelength of a band pass filters can be produced at any specified wavelength from 0.3 µm to 25 µm, and the bandwidth tolerances of the filter can range from ±1% of CWL for narrow band pass filters although tighter tolerances can be provided when required.

JDSU band pass filters have excellent coating uniformity, flat pass band spectral profile, high peak transmission values, and excellent out of band blocking.  The band pass filters are available on a variety of substrates and can be fabricated to meet individual design requirements.
